Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account or otherwise using bw plug, you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older to use bw plug. We do not offer parental or guardian accounts for anyone younger.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date. Each account is for one person or one business; contact us if you need something different.

3. Your content

You own everything you post to bw plug: your bio, photos, links, and any product or service listings. By posting content, you give us a narrow licence to host, store and display it, only so we can run your page and show it to visitors. That licence ends when you remove the content or delete your account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use bw plug to post or link to anything that:

• is unlawful, in Botswana or wherever your visitors are;
• infringes someone else's intellectual property;
• contains malware or other harmful code;
• is sexually explicit adult content;
• is hateful, harassing, or threatening towards a person or group;
• impersonates another person or business;
• is spam or unwanted bulk messaging; or
• scrapes or harvests data from bw plug.

This applies to the destinations you link to as well as to the content on your page itself.

5. Bookings and sales

bw plug is a platform, not a shop and not a party to any booking or sale made through your page. Any contract for goods, services or a booking is between you and your customer directly. We do not fulfil orders, guarantee quality, chase no-shows, or handle refunds: those are between you and your customer.

If you sell products, offer services or take bookings through bw plug, you are the data controller for the personal details your customers give you (such as a booking guest's name and phone number), and you are responsible for using that data lawfully.

6. Reports and moderation

If we receive a report about your account or a page breaches these terms, we respond proportionately: a warning first where appropriate, then temporary suspension, and removal only for serious or repeated breaches. If your account is suspended or removed and you believe that was a mistake, contact us to appeal.

7. Ending your account

You may close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. When your account is deleted, we handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Availability

We provide bw plug on an "as is" basis. We work hard to keep it running well, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that:

This cap does not affect any rights you have under Botswana's Consumer Protection Act that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Indemnity

If your breach of these terms or your misuse of bw plug causes us a direct loss (for example, a legal claim brought against us because of content you posted), you agree to cover that loss, in proportion to your part in causing it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we will give you notice, for example by email or a notice in your dashboard, before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana, and the courts of Botswana have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes any right you have to bring a claim under Botswana's Consumer Protection Act.
